Hi Guys

since lat week the two states were rocked by the farmer chief minister of andhra pradesh Mr Naidu. He want to visit a dam which is built and permission is denied by the Maharashtra Govt. When he was a cheif minister he didnt bother to approach the court, he dint protest and now he and his team showed a protest which is Unrelenting. He is silent when telangana moment began he dint stop his MLA/MP for not to protest he has given free hand to them now he want to reach out telamgana public so he put these drama in front of them. I think public knows better than Naidu they will teach a lesson to the Naidu.

He just want to change the focous from telangana to babli dam project Pitty on you Mr Naidu on your ignorance Inshallla On 30th of july people of Telangana will delever the verdict and at that time where you will go I want to see.

Communal tension in Old City Hyderabad

Hi guys,

On 28th of march news broke out that there is a communal tension in old city when I enquired and come to know from the police that it is a organised by some elements. I fail to understand why people become so sensitive why there are gaps between us why one has to destroy the religious place which religion say to destroy the religious places.

The Old city has to come on part with new city these elements don’t have any job the old city is calm for last 18 long years in these 18 long years there might be a couple of incidence apart from that it remains the most calm place.

I started to visits the old city since Oct 09 what I really understand about old city is it is a combination of most plural form of society. the society is divided into Sunni, shia, and Hindus.

The Muslims are divided in to shia and Sunnis and Hindus are divided in to sects what I fail is the Identity of Indian. The Hindu groups try to identify in the name of sects such as Brahmin’s, Dalt’s, Redd, etc.

These might be a result of organisations who time to time influence people with religion bias feelings.

What I feel is it is a time to move on we have to exercise the habit of understanding others. Islam say to perform

The “Five Pillars” of Islam:

   1- Profession of Faith, Shahadah, “There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet”.
    2- “Prayer”: “Five times a day”… “Fridays”… The “Salat”:
    3- “Give alms”, “Zakat”
    4- “Fasting”, “Sawm”, on the month of “Ramadan”
     5- “Pilgrimage to Mecca”, the “Hajj”

In India what I understand in last 25 years is I was not stopped in performing my Religion. I can share one incident I joined a company and I ws on training and on Friday a gentleman came and announced how many Muslims are here I said 4 Muslims are there in these class room and he said today is friday and company is giving the extra break to you people to perform namaz. I felt a feeling that I cant explained we were about to ask but the management has already decided.

It might not be the same cases to all but majority yes. We have to understand that we are living in a country where Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, and other live.

We have to live with them it is a reality, it can not be changed and the people who think it will be changed they will be getting the befitting reply.

SC takes up AP appeal against HC ruling quashing 4% Muslim quota

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Monday entertained Andhra Pradesh government’s appeal challenging the High Court verdict quashing a state law giving 4% reservation to Muslims in jobs and admissions to educational institutions.

A Bench comprising Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan and Justice Deepak Verma was reluctant to hear attorney general G E Vahanvati who was eager to press for a stay on the HC order given the stinging criticism of the Rosaiah government, accused by Muslim bodies of not doing enough to sustain its legislation in the HC.

The reluctance to hear the appeal on merit and on the issue of interim order was because the HC judgment was given by a 7-judge Bench by 5:2 majority. The CJI said that it would be appropriate if the matter was heard by a three judge Bench of the apex court and fixed March 25 as the next date.

Though the AP government had hurriedly filed the special leave petition against the February 8 judgment of the HC, mainly to quell frayed tempers among political parties, curing the defects in the petition resulted in its delayed listing.

While striking down the `Andhra Pradesh Reservation in Favour of Socially and Educationally Backward Classes of Muslims Act 2007′, the HC had remarked that such a legislation could promote conversion.

The AP government said Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Manipur had more or less similar legislation providing reservation to Muslims. It said the apprehension about promoting conversion was unwarranted as reservation was being given to socially and educationally backward in the community, virtually at par with those similarly placed in the Hindu community.

This is the third time that the Andhra government found its decision for providing reservation to Muslims being scrapped by the HC. Prior to 2007 legislation, it had first decided to extend quota to Muslims in 2004 through an administrative decision. After the government orders were quashed, the state had appointed BC Commission and on its recommendations enacted a law in 2005 to similar effect. This also met the same fate as the 2004 decision.

Muslims constitute 9.2% of the 77 million population of the state and the reservation was extended to 15 groups within the community who were identified after a survey by the AP Backward Classes Commission, said the Rosaiah government.

A U.S.-funded study involving more than 16,000 volunteers in Thailand found that a combination of ALVAC, made by Paris- based Sanofi-Aventis SA, and AIDSVAX, from VaxGen Inc., of South San Francisco, cut infections by 31.2 percent in the people who received it compared with those on a placebo, scientists said today in Bangkok. Neither vaccine had stopped the virus that causes AIDS when tested separately in previous studies. The finding represents a revival in a campaign that appeared to stall just two years ago when use of Merck & Co.’s experimental Ad5 vaccine boosted some people’s chances of infection in a study. The latest result will transform future research, said Mitchell Warren, director of the New York-based AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition. “Wow,” said Warren, who was not involved in the study, in a telephone interview today. “We are in a new place in the search for an AIDS vaccine. It’s safe to say that the scientific community is caught off-guard.” The findings don’t mean the vaccine can be delivered worldwide, because of unanswered questions about how the shot worked and the fact that it was designed using HIV strains that are specific to Thailand, said Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease in Bethesda, Maryland. It will take years of research before a vaccine might be ready for U.S. approval, he said. A Beginning “This is the beginning of the effort,” Fauci said today in a conference call with reporters. “It’s opened up the door for us to ask some very important fundamental scientific questions as well as some clinical questions.” VaxGen shares rose 5 cents, or 7.3 percent, to 74 cents at 4 p.m. New York time in over-the-counter trading. Sanofi shares declined 74 cents, or 1.5 percent, to 50.13 euros in Paris. The Thailand study looked at whether different infection- fighting strategies devised by Sanofi and VaxGen could be combined into a two-pronged attack. It was conducted by Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health over six years, and led by researcher Supachai Reks-Gnarm. “What is exciting is that this has provided a proof of concept, that we can do this,” said Cate Hankins, chief scientific officer at UNAIDS, the United Nations AIDS-fighting agency. “Anything is possible now, it feels. It is a scientific breakthrough,” Hankins said by phone from London. Canarypox Virus Sanofi’s ALVAC uses a canarypox virus that’s been disabled so it doesn’t cause sickness in humans to smuggle three HIV genes into the body. It’s designed to coax the immune system to make so-called T-cells, protectors that hunt and kill infection deep inside the body. The AIDSVAX shot contains an HIV protein called gp120 that’s used by the virus to enter human cells. It is designed to encourage the body to produce neutralizing antibodies to destroy HIV viruses before they can infect healthy cells. The search for a vaccine to prevent HIV has eluded scientists since the early 1980s. AIDS, the syndrome linked with HIV, infects about 6,800 new people globally every day. While there are treatments for HIV that limit the virus in the body, holding AIDS at bay for years, there is no cure. First Evidence “This is the first concrete evidence, since the discovery of the virus in 1983, that a vaccine against HIV is eventually feasible,” Michel DeWilde, senior vice president of research at Sanofi Pasteur, the French drugmaker’s vaccine unit, said in a statement today. An international test of the Ad5 vaccine made by Whitehouse Station, New Jersey-based Merck in about 3,000 people was halted in September 2007, when 49 HIV infections occurred among those who received it compared with 33 among those who got placebo shots. That suggested the product may have raised HIV risk among people exposed to blood or semen containing the virus. In 2004, a group of U.S. AIDS researchers said in a letter to the journal Science that the combination trial would probably disappoint, and shouldn’t be allowed to proceed because of the failure of the two previous studies. Highest HIV Rates In a telephone interview from Oxford, England, before the results were reported, Marie-Paule Kieny, director of the World Health Organization’s Initiative for Vaccine Research in Geneva, said, “I don’t think there is a lot of expectation that the efficacy of this vaccine will be very high. Any hint towards identifying something which is protective in humans would be very good news,” she said. The researchers enrolled volunteers in Thailand’s Chon Buri and Rayong provinces, which have the nation’s highest rates of HIV, according to the study Web site. Subjects were given four doses of the ALVAC vaccine and two of the AIDSVAX shot over six months, then monitored for three years. They were also given advice on safe sex. There were no serious side effects, the researchers said. Of those who received the vaccine, 51 became infected with HIV, compared with 74 who received a placebo, the researchers said. Those in the study who became infected with HIV during the trial were given free access to treatment. In another finding, the vaccine failed to reduce the amount of virus in the blood of subjects who became infected. Researchers had hoped that if the vaccine didn’t prevent infections, it would at least cut the virus to levels so low it couldn’t be transmitted. Modest Results “Although the results were modest, with an efficacy of 31.2 percent, this is a very important scientific advance, and gives us hope that a globally effective HIV vaccine may be possible in the future,” said Jerome Kim, a deputy director of science at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, which sponsored the trial. “It has already caused us to change some of our ideas,” Kim told reporters. The researchers don’t understand exactly how the vaccine prevented infections or why it didn’t reduce viral load. “We need to find out a lot more about how it went about reducing HIV risk,” said UNAIDS’s Hankins. “There’s a whole slew of studies being planned now and meetings being planned to discuss the significance of the results, and to go into detail on the data.” The same vaccine may not necessarily have the same effect in other parts of the world, such as Africa, where different strains of HIV circulate, Hankins said. Its main policy is to create a terror in the mids of people. Its polices never talk about citizens problems rather it raises religion issues talks about mandir and masjid issues. In October Maharastra and haryana is gooing to poll. in haryana BJP is gooing all alone and in maharastra party is gooing with shiv sena which is battling for its existence in maharastra.
